All-in-one power solution: the HybridBox
At the Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS) in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, Fischer Panda introduced a new ‘all in one’ power supply solution: the Panda 7500iQ Whisper HybridBox. This compact unit combines a modern variable-speed generator with a shore power connection and efficient battery charging. Inside the HybridBox a Quattro 24/3000/70 is installed, which provides 230 Volt under the most adverse circumstances.
Intelligent energy system
The Fischer Panda Whisper HybridBox is designed for environmentallyconscious users who demand efficient energy systems. The HybridBox adjusts its output to match the electrical load. Lower loads produce less exhaust emissions and reduced fuel consumption, better for the environment and the user. The generator inside the capsule is very silent due to the variable-speed. The autostart-function allows the user to view the discharge value of the batteries.
Energy under every circumstance
The Quattro 3kVA Victron Energy s the right power source: shore power while moored, the generator or a combination with the batteries if more power for a short period is needed. Excess energy is not wasted and used for battery charging. The generator can charge the batteries as well.
Unique PowerAssist feature
The Quattro will prevent overload of a limited AC source. First, battery charging will automatically be reduced when otherwise an overload would occur. The second level will boost the output of a generator or shore side supply with power taken the battery.
Usage
The HybridBox can be used in the Marine and Automotive market, for example in boats, caravans and vehicles. The unit is easy to install: just connect the battery and shorepower. The Quattro can be removed the capsule to help during installation.
